Help - Bouncy Dice 3D

How to Play

This app is designed to be used similar to how you would use real dice or coins. Just use the wheel menu to add as many different types of dice or coins as you want on the screen. If there is a different type of dice that you want you can create your own custom dice with your pictures.

How to Roll Some or All Dice

Wheel Menu

The menu is a custom wheel menu designed to be easy and quick to use. To open it simply touch anywhere on the screen where there isn't any dice and the wheel menu will open. If your device has a menu button you can press it to open the menu and to select the default item.
To view the hint text for any menu item tap and hold and the text will appear at the top or bottom of the menu (so it doesn't hide the button). Some menu buttons open sub menus with more buttons.

To close the menu without selecting anything just tap anywhere else on the screen. If your device has a back button then you can press it to navigate back if you are in a sub menu, otherwise it will hide the menu.

This button will roll all the dice on the screen that are not locked.

Adding More Dice

To add dice just open the menu and tap a button with an image for the type of dice you want to add.
The top menu button will always be the normal 6 sided dice.
The 2nd and 3rd menu buttons are the dice that you added most recently. They will automatically update when you add other dice.
The 5th menu button opens the submenu to select from more dice. It will allow you to add a 2 sided coin, or dice with 4, 6, 8, 10, or 20 sides.
the 6th menu button opens the submenu to select from some fun dice. This also has shows examples of custom dice that you can create yourself.

Locking and Unlocking Dice

If you are playing a game where you need to roll some dice but not others then you can lock some dice. When dice are locked they can be moved around but they will not roll and will stay on the same side.
To lock or unlock an individual one tap and hold for a second on one to open the context wheel menu for it. Then press the either the lock or unlock (key) button.
To lock all the dice on the screen first select the more button to open the submenu then select the lock all button. Sometimes it is faster to lock all the dice then unlock just the ones you want.

If you choose 2 sides the shape will be a round coin, 6 sides will be square, and 4, 8, 10, or 20 sides will use a triangle shape. Choose a larger size for better quality or easier to see images, or smaller size to use less space or allow better performance on older devices.

You can also use any of the below buttons to modify the selection or edit the image.
Use the arrow buttons (or touchscreen) to move the selection around until the blue shape covers the area you want to use.
Use these buttons to rotate the selection a little bit at a time. The selection will have a dot on the part of it that will face up.
Use these buttons to shrink or grow the selection.
This will reset the selection to the center, rotated normal, and full size again.
This will open the photo chooser application to allow you to choose another image to use. If you have multiple photo applications you will be asked which one to use. If you do not have any photo applications installed you will see a error message and you will need to install a photo chooser application to use this functionality.
